At WMAAP, we practice a Korean form of martial arts called Chung Do Kwan, Tae Kwon Do.
Whether you are new to martial arts or a returning student, we have a class to fit your schedule.
Tae Kwon Do offers a complete physical workout that builds your body, mind and soul, increases your cardiovascular health, enhances your focus, reinforces your self-esteem, increases joint mobility and range of motion and has proven to aid both children and adults in their work.
If at any point in your life you longed to try it out, there is no time like the present. At WMAAP, safety and respect is stressed in an environment that offers encouargement and support.
Classes are led by Mr. Rocco Lombardo-6th degree Black Belt with more than 32 years of instructional experience. Mr. Lombardo has studied under the auspices of Dr. Michael T. Dealy 9th Degree Black Belt- Headmaster of World Martial Arts Association.
Please fill out the short form below and you will recieve an introductory instructional course along with your first registered month completely free of charge. Classes are held at the Western Pocono Community Library located on Pilgrim Way in Brodheadsville, PA.
WMAAP from a current students viewpoint
Rocco has succeeded in creating a unique environment where individuals and families can come together and feel safe to explore their physical boundaries and abilities. He has an extensive education in psychology, sociology and therapy; that, in combination with his lengthy career in the martial arts makes him an extraordinary instructor. I have enrolled all three of my sons including myself in his classes. Together we have grown stronger individually and as a family through Rocco’s energetic approach. My children feel safe, non-threatened and encouraged. Rocco is an intelligent, caring individual who leads through example with quiet determination. His love of Tae Kwon Do and working with people is evident. The kindness and respect he and his students show toward one another is a wonderful by-product of his enthusiasm.
